Welsh Cottage Cakes is a small craft bakery in West Wales employing 14 people to produce an award winning Bara Brith and traditional recipe cakes for distribution to craft shops, community and farm shops, specialist outlets and high street supermarkets. We depend not only on the efficiency of our staff and production operation, but also on the support of related businesses to create and maintain our image of The Taste of Wales representing True Value in a Traditional Cake. One of the most important aspects of product identity and uniformity is the label and we have depended on Colourflex to create and provide us with a range of eleven colour coded labels which have found great public acceptance as well as much approval from the likes of ASDA who stock a range of five products on their local supplier shelving and remark how bright and attractive they are. We overprint details such as barcode according to size, batch number according to date of production and best before date ourselves. We have always found the staff at Colourflex to go out of their way to oblige and be most helpful especially in times of emergency such as low back-up stock of spare labels. They always able to help and we have never let a customer down as a result. True credit indeed in today’s pressurised demands for ever shortening lead times.
